Hospital Creates A Greener Health For Its Patients
We already know how green walls can contribute to improving our health within offices and homes. New studies now show that green walls incorporated into hospitals can:
This can reduce the number of people in hospitals, the staffing, and the medical requirements and make waiting times shorter.
Improve their well-being

A Gro2 GroWall was installed at the Clarian Health/Indiana University Health to camouflage an air conditioning unit outside the NICU Unit for new mothers and babies.
Organic serpentine lines curl over what was once a boxy, industrial-looking space, now covered in two-tone wood-like panels. Additional visual interest was created by having some of the panels extend out from the flat surface, creating a 3-D effect.
Now, pockets of green intercept the curving lines, creating a soothing visual appeal for new mothers when they look out their window. Additionally, green roof panels were installed to maximize on making the space truly green.
