I Need A Home...
Meet Milo
Milo
Milo is one gorgeous golden oldie!!  He originally came from a home with 3 other cats with whom he loved to play with. He can also hold his own against inquisitive dogs. :)  This handsome pud is very people oriented & adores pats, scratches and cuddles but is not a sit on your lap type... Milo is litter trained and was an indoor cat with a secure outside run before coming to us; he is now is an indoor cat who uses the cat door to go outside during the day. Please give Milo another chance at finding a loving, permanent home by contacting SAFE Perth on 0414 740 654.

Benson's a Good Boy
Benson
This lovely boy is currently waiting to be rescued at the Stirling Shire Pound - here is what the Ranger says about him:  "Benson is a brindle, male, Mastiff X. He is middle-aged, approximately (at a guess), 8 years old. Benson was found wandering in Balcatta and presented to the pound by a passerby. He has not as yet been sterilised, and we have no knowledge of his vaccination history (best to assume he is not vaccinated). Benson may have problems with arthritis in the future as he appears to have difficulty with his elbows.  He does not seem to be in any pain however. Benson is a lovely natured dog who is very responsive and craves attention (he loves a good scratch on the head).  Don’t be put off by his intense gaze; he just wants to take everything in.  As you can see in photo 1, his tail is furiously wagging in response to positive and gentle affection.  He also has impeccable manners with regard to meal-time and the prospect of a nice walk."  If you would like to adopt Benson the Shire charges only $160 which includes sterilisation!  Please give this gorgeous fella a second chance - call 9345 8584 for more details.

Tiny Tully
Tully
My brother and sisters ALWAYS squeeze me out! You just wait till I'm older, and then I'll show them who's boss!! These guys were found with their mum in a house, left behind when the people left town. They are gorgeous healthy kits just waiting till old enough to make some family complete. Could it be yours? They will come de-sexed, vacc, wormed, vet checked and micro-chipped. For more info on them please visit http://www.petrescue.com.au/view/86303.

Friendly Bali
Bali
BALI is a lovable Male Kelpie X (aged 21 months).  He's a beautiful boy who would love to go for walks with you and would prefer if you were someone who could be home most days so you can keep each other company.
Bali is housetrained, good with most other dogs and would very much like a family who has older children so they can play together.

Bali would also be absolutely terrific at agility, thereby giving both he and the owner and family a time of socialising and an achievement.

Bali is a smaller medium size, a really great little dog full of happiness and love. To meet Bali please contact The Animal Protection Society Refuge, which is open to the public seven days a week from 10.00 am to 3 pm. Call (08) 9398 6616 or email them.

Happy Ending Updates...
Time to catch up on what happened to .....

Happy Endings
Gorgeous Jewel found a home back in August, I'm surprised it took so long as she is so adorable!  Good luck in your new home Jewel. Rocket & Cami were rehomed in June - lucky little bunnies. Misty and  Marley found sanctuary in May - it's so wonderful to know that this elderly couple received a second chance!

Armchair Activist
Voice your protest on issues that matter - from the comfort of your chair.
Sure, rats and mice may make even the most masculine of us scream - but using glue traps to catch these little animals is cruel. It can lead to a slow and painful death that is completely inhumane and unnecessary. Help put a stop to glue traps, and send an email to Global Australia.

Maternal Instincts
Malaysia has no specific legislation governing the use of animals in research and with the proposal for an animal testing facility in Malacca, thousands of small animals are at risk. Please sign the petition to help halt the proposal for this facility.
