The New Blissful Blog
The Blissful Blog was originally created as a free WordPress blogging theme by the Co-Founder of Organic Themes, David Morgan. Over the past several months we have been transforming the Blissful Blog in to a new website solution for the wedding industry. We are very pleased to announce the launch of the new site!
The new Blissful Blog site features a couple options for getting started with a wedding website — A monthly membership plan that includes the automatic setup of a hosted Blissful Blog with access to support and the wedding community. In addition, individually sold, self-hosted WordPress Templates are available on the site for a one-time fee. Don't worry — the free version of the Blissful Blog is still available for download as well.
We are confident the Blissful Blog will be an excellent website solution and community for couples and wedding vendors — photographers, videographers, planners, florists, caterers and more. As the site and community grows we anticipate releasing new templates catered towards a variety of wedding vendors. Of course, you don't have to be getting married or involved with weddings to use the Blissful Blog. It's a great minimally designed blogging theme for anybody!
The Structure Theme v3
Our popular Structure Theme has received an awesome new update. Check out the demo to see the changes in action! Considerable updates have been made to the design and code of the theme, including new CSS3 transitions, an updated portfolio page temaplte, social media buttons and much more. We have condensed the 2 black and white theme variations in to a single theme with multiple color changing options — so an endless variety of color schemes can be achieved without having to switch the entire theme or touch the stylesheet. The latest version of the Structure Theme is sure to impress. Additional updates include:
Options Framework
The theme update also integrates with the Options Framework plugin, which offers a much more sleek options interface.
New Featured Content Slider
The new featured content slider can display featured images or featured videos.
Numbered Pagination
The theme now features numbered pagination, giving an added level of navigation for sites with lots of content and posts.
Featured Videos
The theme is now capable of displaying featured videos within the slider, homepage posts and category pages and portfolio templates.
Google Fonts
Google Fonts have been added to several headings throughout the theme.
Color Change Options
The site background, links, rollover and highlight colors can all be changed in the theme options.
Featured Image Banners
Featured images can be added to pages and page templates as a banner image for that particular page.
