It's time to start calling Senators Feinstein and Boxer to ask them to pass the emergency Farm Bill. It's an emergency because so many of their constituents are in need of food stamps. The House has added the emergency drought relief package to start the Delta pumps and stop the San Joaquin River Restoration flows to this bill. This is a tactic Feinstein and Boxer are well aware of as it is the way they get most of their unaccceptable regulations passed. It has already passed the House and now is in the Senate. If passed, Obama apparently will sign it because the farm bill contains the food stamp and other provisions important to Democrats. The compromisers are being asked to compromise. Let's see if they can deliver.
