The next Church Council meeting will be held on July 26 at 6 pm in Fellowship Hall.
BOOK STUDY-JULY 27
Our next book will be, "Ordinary Grace" by William Kent Krueger. "Ordinary Grace" is an exceptionally well written novel of coming-of-age in a small town in Minnesota during the summer of 1961. This book holds a mystery when one of the five deaths is a murder but it also speaks of wisdom, secrets, forgiveness, the love of family, faith and miracles. We will meet to discuss the book on Wednesday July 27th at 12:30 pm in Fellowship Hall. For questions, contact Janice Hitchcock at 314-601-1799.
PRESCHOOL YARD SALE-AUGUST 6
The Preschool will be hosing a yard sale at church on Saturday 8/6 from 8 AM to noon. If you would like to donate you can bring items to church on Friday 8/5 so they can be priced and set up for Saturday.

All children, 10 years of age and older are invited to join Children's Sunday School. We will be covering Christianity & What are Methodists? The Boutique is open every Wednesday between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. or you can visit after worship service.
NEW BEGINNINGS
Mattress Sets-We are in dire need of mattress sets. We're not getting the donated mattresses and are resorting to purchasing them. This is not sustainable. If you know of a wholesale source please let us know. If you have been looking to replace your mattress, give us a call.
Help Wanted-We need someone to handle scheduling of deliveries and/or handling some light administrative duties (data entry, tax letters and thank you notes).

The Mary & Martha team of New Beginnings wishes to thank everyone who has been so dedicated to helping us out. Recently we have received many items of need, pot and pan sets, sheets, coffee makers, toasters, pillows and much more.
As New Beginnings continues to help those moving into housing, we on the Mary & Martha team will have an on-going need for your prayers and support. If you would like to join the fun and meet this lovely group of ladies, come to fellowship hall on a Wednesday between 9 a.m. and noon.

FRESH START
Fresh Start is a ministry that began at LPUMC. This ministry employs people who need a helping hand by showing them how to make dog food and dog treats. To purchase a special treat/surprise for your pup, contact Larry Turner at 314-295-8417.
HOME FIRST STL
Home First provides housing and a guided path to independent living. To date, 2 four family houses have been rehabbed providing initial shelter, help in finding jobs and counseling along the way. STEPHEN MINISTERS
