DFCM is Tackling Child Obesity and Malnutrition through new Partnership

DFCM is proud to be a partner in the Centre for Child Nutrition, Health and Development, along with the Department of Nutritional Sciences and the Department of Paediatrics at the University of Toronto. The Centre aims to improve the nutrition of children worldwide and break the trajectory of future chronic disease.

Faculty member and the Centre Chair in Patient Engagement in Child Nutrition, Dr. Mike Evans, unveiled his new Whiteboard video at the official campaign launch for the Centre. In the video, Evans highlights the challenges children and their families face in finding ways to eat healthy, as well as Canada's growing childhood overweight and obesity problem.
