Providing Affordable Housing.  Promoting Self Sufficiency.  Creating Opportunities.
Dignity's staff and tenants have been out and about this spring, participating in events around the community including Mt. Airy Day, the Rittenhouse Flower Market and Love Your Park Day.
The Dignity Drumline
The Dignity Drumline performed at two local events this spring.  Left, children perform at Mt. Airy Day (Photo courtesy Tieshka Smith).  Dignity utilized Mt. Airy Day as an opportunity to make the community aware of the newly-opened public computer lab at our main office.  For more information about the computer lab, please contact kmotley@dignityhousing.org.
Accompanied by volunteers from Unidos da Filadelfia, children also entertained the crowd at the Rittenhouse Flower Market.  Dignity has participated in the two-day event for the past two years, which raises money and awareness for programs serving children in Philadelphia.  Right, Dignity staff help children with a Mother's Day craft at Dignity's information booth.

Case Manager, Shonda Brinson, organized a group of Dignity residents who joined local volunteers for the "Love Your Park" event sponsored by the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, Philadelphia Parks and Recreation, and Fairmount Park Conservancy.  Dignity's group volunteered at Clovery Park, located at Wissahickon Ave and School House Lane.  The group contributed to several projects that included mulching, weeding, trash removal, and tree tending.
