Introducing the RESOLVE capital campaign
Nine non-profit agencies, including the CHF, are collaborating to fundraise for affordable housing units in Calgary. This exciting campaign, called RESOLVE, seeks to raise $120 million. The campaign is off to a great start with more than $11 million committed by a group of homebuilders to help the CHF build over 240 units of housing for Calgary’s most vulnerable. Learn more at
makeitpossible@resolvecampaign.com or 403 930 0970.
Thanks for helping us with 16 Project Homeless Connects
On April 29, the CHF held the 16th Project Homeless Connect (PHC), bringing the total people served to well over 11,000. About 40 agencies and 100 volunteers pitched in to help more than 750 attendees. A blog by Paul Stanton, the organizer, can be found on our blog page. This was the last PHC, as the CHF’s Homeless Management Information System and coordinated intake program provide a virtual connection to services. As well, SCORCe, a new centre that will provide referrals to many services in one location, starts up in June.
