Alberta leads efforts to address homelessness with province-wide Count
This fall, the seven cities in Alberta with 10 Year Plans will count the number of people experiencing homelessness using consistent dates and methodologies. The result will be a cross-Alberta tally of the scope of the challenge. Autumn is often when the number of people experiencing homelessness rises. Stay tuned for the results sometime near the end of the year.

Check out our new website and learn more about homelessness
There’s a lot to love about our new website, from the top stories on the Home Page to interesting backgrounders on Housing First and Length of Stay, Here.  And while you’re at it, visit another great site, the Homeless Hub, to learn why people become homeless at ‘Explainer.’

The foundation for Stepping Stone Manor is done
The foundation is done on Stepping Stone Manor, the new apartment being built by Cedarglen Living in the Beltline. View Photos. Thirty formerly homeless individuals will move in next summer. The provincial government provided capital grants for 70% of the project cost and CedarGlen Living is providing the balance. Thank you!
