Prom will be outside at the VFW Shelter on 5/22.

We need your help to make this happen! Parents & Faculty, we need chaperones; Students, we need you to work some shifts!

Stay tuned for details!

If you have any questions, please contact Erika.

Thank you for your support, we are thrilled to be able to do this!

  -2 dozen gf
3 dozen brownies
3 liters of 7up
2-3 cans of citrus concentration
popcorn/popcorn maker
4 12 packs of bubbly water

Thanks so much for your help!

All School Meeting
(and It's Not Over Zoom!)

Set your calendar for the first YIHS All-School event in over a year!  Wednesday, May 19th, we'll start the evening off with a picnic (not a potluck) out on the lawn.  Then we'll move under the big top for some rousing speeches from students, parents, and faculty.  We'll also be casting our ballots for next year's closed committees.  See you there at 5:30pm - IRL!

Intensive Rosters Have Landed

What class will you be in next?  Whatever it is, it'll be your last one of the year.

We're Getting Serious, Don't Make Us Release the Hounds

Graduation Day: It's Less Than A Month Away
Save the date!  YIHS Graduation will take place on Sunday, June 6th in rural Vernon County, and while there will be a few COVID-related recommendations and requests, there won't be any attendance restrictions!  Bring whoever you want (as long as they don't have COVID).

Breaking News!
The Textile Design intensive class needs your newspapers! Please leave your donations in the labeled box in the doorway at the bottom of the stairs in the Northern entry of the Landmark Center (you don't even have to walk up the stairs!) Thank you!

Poem of the Week

from Yellow Birds
King Yoori

In yellow sunlight on the golden road
I stand alone.
All, all are mine—rice fields and golden road,
All but the one thing I desire.
In a tree by the road two yellow birds are mating.
Why must they sing so gaily ?
