All School Meeting (and It's Not Over Zoom!)
Set your calendar for the first YIHS All-School event in over a year! Wednesday, May 19th, we'll start the evening off with a picnic (not a potluck) out on the lawn. Then we'll move under the big top for some rousing speeches from students, parents, and faculty. We'll also be casting our ballots for next year's closed committees. See you there at 5:30pm - IRL!
Intensive Rosters Have Landed
What class will you be in next? Whatever it is, it'll be your last one of the year.
EVERYBODY wins when you buy a t-shirt or hoodie, designed and printed by YIHS senior Sebastian Danneil and his intrepid team of garment workers! All proceeds go to YIHS, Sebastian's senior project becomes a success, you look cool, and the general public doesn't have to see your nipples anymore! Start winning! Start shopping!
Graduation Day: It's Less Than A Month Away Save the date! YIHS Graduation will take place on Sunday, June 6th in rural Vernon County, and while there will be a few COVID-related recommendations and requests, there won't be any attendance restrictions! Bring whoever you want (as long as they don't have COVID).
Breaking News! The Textile Design intensive class needs your newspapers! Please leave your donations in the labeled box in the doorway at the bottom of the stairs in the Northern entry of the Landmark Center (you don't even have to walk up the stairs!) Thank you!
In yellow sunlight on the golden road
I stand alone.
All, all are mine—rice fields and golden road,
All but the one thing I desire.
In a tree by the road two yellow birds are mating.
Why must they sing so gaily ?
