Our first-ever musical the satirical smash hit about love, betrayal, and the seduction of success that is The Little Shop of Horrors.
Bursting with juicy DRAMA, ridiculous COMEDY, as well as one humungous and blood-thirsty plant, Little Shop combines all the best of musical theatre. To truly understand, one must experience it in person!

Junior College Tour - April 9 - 13
The YIHS 11th grade will be embarking on our annual Junior college tour during the week of April 9-13. Our plans are coming together nicely, but we still need one more vehicle! If you can help us out, please contact Jacob.

The recent YIHS quiz bowl match will air on Fox 25 TV on Sunday, April 15 at 10:30AM.
Service Week, May 7-11, 2012
Parents are needed to help us organize Service Week this year. We have a few standing engagements: the Humane Society, the Community Arena, and the PRWS Pentathlon, and we are looking for more! Please contact Liz or Jacob if you would like to fill this very necessary and rewarding role this year!
Permaculture Design for PRWS Greenspace
Introduction to Permaculture Ecological Design

Full On-site Workshop* at PRWS to Design new Greenspace between PRWS & Landmark Building
Saturday, April 14th, 9 am-4 pm

*$50 Fee (lunch provided). Reservation required.
Pleasant Ridge Waldorf School has received grant funding from the Paul E. Stry Foundation and Organic Valley to create a greenspace on school grounds (currently asphalt) between PRWS and the Landmark Building in June 2012. Mark Shepard, alumni parent, organic farmer and renowned Permaculture expert, will lead a design process for the school using this project to teach permaculture design principles and include individuals within our school community as well as area partners, neighbors and community members to help design the space. This will include a Friday night lecture (open to the public) and a full Saturday workshop (for a fee) on site for participants. Download the full flyer here.
