For schools who have not yet signed up:
Over the next few weeks, schools will need to decide how they will be ensuring that all Early Career Teachers (ECTs) receive a programme of support based upon the Early Career Framework (ECF). We are pleased to be offering the Full Induction Programme for all schools in Wirral and Liverpool. In order to do this we will be working with University College London (UCL).
To help schools better understand these new statutory induction requirements, we are holding a webinar to talk through the necessary actions for schools to take. There will be time for colleagues to ask questions within these sessions, however if you simply require the information, please watch the recording of our previous webinar ECF Information webinar.
The next webinar will take place on:
Monday 21st June, 2pm-2:45pm

Meeting ID: 841 3316 8650
You can express interest in doing the Full Induction Programme with us by filling out the form on this page.
Not received the DfE email about this? See”what you need to do…” below
For schools who have already signed up:
A large number of schools across Liverpool and Wirral have already signed up and we will now be confirming places with everyone. Please look out for an email from Natasha Waters (email@example.com) which will contain a letter of ‘intent to commit’.
Interested in helping us facilitate the ECF?
We are currently looking to develop a team of highly experienced teachers who are interested in helping facilitate our Early Career Framework offer. If you are interested in this, please email Andy Ash (firstname.lastname@example.org)
5% time off timetable for NQT+1
As part of the education recovery package, it was announced teachers in their second year will have 5% funded time off timetable to access training - a year earlier than previously planned. The further £32m cost of this will be met through existing DfE schools budgets. Further detail regarding the payment mechanism and what this means for schools will be announced shortly.
