I dropped off Papama today for her highschool orientation. It needs getting used to be responsible for a teenager. She starts at Mondeor Eco School. Her voice level has been elevated for the last three days out of the excitement.

Anathi wants to be a musician (a rapper). He passed 9th grade and brought his report card to me. He averaged 40 on most of the subjects except Arts and Culture, which was close to 80. Helen decided to support his dream by giving him piano lessons once a week. He never played before. I asked him if he liked his first lesson, and he said, "Too much... I like."

Abohna turned 5. As a birthday present, we painted his room together. Sometimes I don't realize that he will say to people, "Hi my name is Abohna and I grew up in Africa."
