  HP’s Elitebook 2530p Ranked #1 Business Notebook

CRNtech Magazine's Test Center Found HP’s Elitebook 2530p the best out of six popular business notebooks. The Elitebook stood above the rest because of its solid performance and durability. 

The notebook is not marketed has a rugged notebook but it does qualify, meeting military standards MIL-STD 810F) for drops, vibration, dust, extreme temperatures, and humidity.

A nice touch on the Elitebook 2530p is a small night light positioned to the right of the 2-megapixel Webcam. With the press of a button, a tiny LED illuminates the keyboard.

Another feature is the HP Business Card Reader, which is basically a small slot on the front of the unit, just below the touchpad. This feature allows the user to upload a business card easily without a scanner. The contact information from the card can be simply transferred to Microsoft Outlook.

With retail price of approximately $1,600, and weighing just 3.19 pounds this notebook packs a lot of performance and features into a compact form factor that is more than durable enough for the typical road warrior.

Entrepreneur’s 7 Steps to the Perfect Marketing Plan

 We believe that marketing is an important part of any business or organization, and found Entrepreneur’s article by John Jantsch perfect to help revamp your marketing.

1. Narrow your market focus. Decide what your ideal customer, be as specific as possible.

2. Position your business. Pin point what you do best and what the market wants.

3. Create education-based marketing materials. Focus all your marketing pieces to education. Make sure all these speak to your core messages and your target audience.

4. Never cold call. Turn your marketing to creating leads, not customers. Once you create the contact then concentrate on selling.

5. Earn media attention. Create a list of journalists who cover your industry or community, and build relationships with each by becoming a reliable resource of information.

6. Except referrals. Map every contact and build processes that focus on referrals.

7. Live by a calender. After you complete steps 1 through 6, determine what you need to do to put them into action. Then create an annual marketing calendar, noting the required monthly, weekly and daily appointments necessary to move your plan forward.
