October Newsletter

President's Letter

Dear Readers,

Part of the greatness of being on a team is tagging each other in when needed!  As such, I’m filling in for our dear President, Zohra for the October newsletter!

Fall is in the air!  In North Texas, those mornings, evenings, and eventually full days of cool weather are beloved!  That crispness in the air makes me excited for Q4!  I think about the projects I will wrap up, the fresh projects I’ll encounter in the new year.  I reflect on things I’ve learned throughout 2021 that have enhanced my skills as a technical writer.  I think about the people who have taught me so much; many are a part of this chapter!

As we look toward the remaining months of 2021, we have some things to look forward to.  On October 21st, we have an exciting webinar from Christopher Ward called, “Simple Authoring for Complex Concepts.”  Stay tuned for registration details on our website and various social media platforms.

Our November event is in the planning stage and our December holiday party is in the works! As always, I look forward to learning and growing and letting loose in merriment with all of you!  For now, I’ll raise my pumpkin spiced latte in a cheers to FALL!!!!!!

Warmly,

Faith Peralta
NTLSC First Vice President

VP's Corner

Hello from our Second VP

Hello All!

With the new year right around the corner, but not quite here, I’ve begun to start making lists. Goals for 2022 might seem early, but can be easier to stick to if I’m already turning them into a habit after fully envisioning them at the start of the winter season. Here’s to making this month a month of fully realized goals!
