Rather to Be Chosen: The After party was longer than the film!

We were just so pleased with the turnout for the advance screening of Rather to Be Chosen

When we set the date Patricia Mauceri, who plays Jenny in the film, pointed out that April 7 is her birthday. I told her we'd offer other ideas, but it dawned on me that it might be fun for her to invite people to a movie she's in on her birthday. She agreed, and we later discovered that the date allowed Dan Rupple, the new CEO, and Jackie Granger, senior vice president, both of Mastermedia, to join the event on their trip out from LA. Opera singers Theodore Lambrinos and his wife, Hallie Neill, have performed in about 35 nations, and Theodore has had two stints at the Metropolitan Opera. They blessed Patricia with an operatic rendition of "Happy Birthday," and David Andersen, the East Coast president of Mastermedia brought out Patricia's birthday cake.

Did you happen to leave behind your scarf? Let us know how we can get it back to you.
People stayed two hours to fellowship after the 90 minute film was over.
Cast and crew from Rather to Be Chosen were joined by Mastermedia executives.
Plans are in the works to bring an advance screening of The Screenwriters, in which I play Hollywood director Forrest "Woodsy" Woods, to NYC. Watch your inbox for details!
