Ullr, are you there?
Our Alexander Falls Touring Centre team has been begging the snow God, Ullr, to be blessed with the typical abundance of fluffy white stuff that we're more familiar with this time of year. So far our requests have been fruitless, but we are working hard at keeping our spirits high. With a second snowcat on the ground this season, we're eager to usher her up to the higher elevations where snow has been falling in more significant amounts. For now, here at the base, we're so close! Just waiting on a bit more snow before we can officially start our nordic skiing operations. Keep an eye on our Current Conditions page, as we'll be updating it daily for all you eager skiers and snowshoers.
Meanwhile, our new Lodge Hosts & Chef are getting familiar with their new environment and have been getting out and enjoying some of that high elevation snow (ask Jakob about his first shred session with Joe!). Our lodge's doors are on schedule to open Dec. 13th and we are all looking forward to welcoming our first guests this weekend!
