Any transition or community projects out there that could use some support from a local business?
The Brixton Pound coordinates a scheme through which local businesses give their time and skills for free to local civil society groups. Through this resource-sharing project, community groups and projects can access support with their social media, web & graphic design, branding & marketing, small enterprise development & plain old manpower. Businesses have so far supported the design and running of People's Fridge; run skillshare workshops; mentored sole traders looking to launch their own businesses selling handmade goods, and more. It's a flexible scheme so if you've got ideas about how traders could share their skills with you or people you work with, let us know! To discuss contact Lucy@brixtonpound.org
