These are hugely inspiring films - with a model for radical community organising. '...showing visionary struggles - mainly in working class communities of colour - which, if combined with our experience as a movement here, could lead to climate change being seen not as a threat, but as an opportunity to create the communities we want to live in and at the same time put right historic injustices and inequalities.' TTB will be there to join the discussion. See a trailer here. This is the first of a series of bi-monthly Reel News film nights in Brixton.

Preparing Locally for a No-Deal Brexit.
On Monday 8 October at Open Project Night, Vicki Hird from Sustain kicked off discussion with a talk about impacts of Brexit on food.
We came up with a number of ideas to help protect the vulnerable locally from the worst impacts. A report of Vicki's talk, the discussion and the actions, continually updated, is here. Actions include collecting all food surplus, coordinating with Lambeth and local NGOs, a store of food, better food training for local and seasonal food, write an article for local media, local growing...  Please comment. We have met with Lambeth Council (notes here) who will be issuing a Cabinet Paper on their preparations for Brexit very soon. We urge a community collaboration of the council,
