Welcome to our August Newsletter.   We have plenty of news for you for the next couple of months.   

NEW UK FILM AUDITIONS - ***CUBAN FURY***
Thank you to everyone who enquired about these auditions, we are delighted to say, that so many of our team and regular dancers who auditioned, got  selected by the producers, and will be featuring in the movie. Filming has already started, and its great to hear so many of you are loving the experience.   I have just been informed of a new Latin Theatre production that has been given the big go ahead....  Auditions start in September, for a 12 week tour in Summer 2013.  If you are intersted please contact Jeff.

Whether you are an absolute beginner or a hard core salsageek, there is something here for you.   Beginners are always warmly welcomed and encouraged to enjoy dance. Experienced dancers are given fun, technically challenging classes, and plenty of hours to social dance to the latest Latin music by our famous and award winning DJ's.

Loudwater Salsa Club -   July has been a brilliant month at Loudwater. We had great new shows by Paso Dorado, and a hugely popular Cha Cha Course, including Dj sessions by Julian Summers.  August is going to start off with a Massive 2 Year Anniversary Party on 5th Aug, with are delighted to invite back guest teachers Trevor & Heidi for  a Kizomba Class at 6-7pm, followed by an Advanced class by Salsa Champions Shelley and Gil.  August also see special party nights with Kerry's Birthday Party, and Jeff's Birthday Party in September.  Loudwater never ceases to surprise us, every week is  packed with dancers who come  from hundreds of miles around. It's wonderful seeing so many dancers turning out every week and dancing non stop, all night....  thank you everyone for making Sunday nights so popular, and above all so friendly and welcoming to new-comers.  

Mambo Monday - Fiesta Havana Fulham
Back by popular demand, we are running Bachata classes on the 1st Monday of every month. Check out the website for the dates with shows by Laith Sami Group. We have been the longest running salsa company to run classes at this venue.  We encourage all beginners/improvers with very friendly and fun salsa classes, with the focus on learning proper technique, really quickly.  Whilst the intermediate/advance classes are very tough and challenging, but still loads of fun.   We have many of our members who regularly attend the classes, master classes, and workshops.  Our classes are structured to help you learn quickly.

5th August 2012   - 2 Year Anniversary Party  at Loudwater  - Special guest teachers Trevor & Heidi (Kizomba 6-7pm) Shelley and Gil from Pexava (Adv 7-8pm) 
WOOOOW I think everyone will agree that Loudwater Salsa Club on Sundays  has just been  amazing.  We never imagined 2 years ago that by opening this club, it would have such a positive effect in the entire West London, Bucks, Herts, Middlesex and other surrounding areas (we have had people coming from Birmingham, Brighton, Bristol, Southampton, etc).  We honestly can not remember 1 bad night in 2 years.  It has gone from strength to strength mainly due to all our members and the local regular dancers that have supported us in  providing a fun and friendly club with the best  dancefloor, the latest Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba & Cha Cha, and free parking / cheap bar.   All our classes/courses have been mega busy, all our party nights - Halloween/ Xmas / Fancy dress, etc were such a laugh.   With your continued support we certainly hope this club will keep providing top levels of salsa at affordable prices.


Jennifer Benavidez  10 Week Incognito Performance Course Ladies ONLY   16th September - 25th November 2012  **********SOLD OUT - AUDITIONS NOW CLOSED ****

Incognito Dance are putting together a Student Performance Team. Choreographed by Jennifer Benavidez, one of the most sought after megastars of the Salsa/Latin world. Jennifer has performed and taught at over 50 worldwide congresses, appeared on dozens of TV Shows/Films around the world.  Jennifer is working with us to put together the toughest performance course yet.  This is a fantastic chance for intermediate/advanced ladies looking to take their Salsa and performance skills to a whole new level. The course will be very very tough. We are only  looking for 8 ladies to join this group.   It will be very intense and definitely not for the faint hearted.  The course includes performances at the end, at many of London's famous salsa clubs. Auditions are held during July and August, and start in September with rehearsals in airconditioned mirrored studios in Fulham Dance Attic.  If you want to audition and perform please email    jeff.mambo@gmail.com

Quick Background on Jennifer
Jennifer Benavidez is a salsa instructor/performer/ choreographer who is the co-owner of Extremos Salsa Dance School based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands for the past 8 years. Dance, especially SALSA has been her passion for over 20 years. Born in San Antonio , Texas , USA , her Mexican heritage has given her dancing rico sabor (good flavour). She discovered ‘partner’ dancing in 1992, and has enjoyed training, teaching, performing and just plain dancing salsa all over the US , Europe and the Middle East .   

You can see her in numerous TV/film projects such as VOC, Alleen Nog Een Man, Life and Cooking, I Love the 80´s, Hoe? Zo!, Alternative Love, TMF, So You Think You Can Dance, The Way She Moves, and The Life of David Gayle. She has given workshops and performed for a diverse range of companies (ABN-AMBRO, National Geographic, ING, Martin Air, KLM, Belegger.nl, Unilever, Expatica and Amsterdam Police Department) , organizations (BBC, BNN,RTL5, The Music Factory TV) , and festivals (Amsterdam Gay Pride Canal Parade, UIT Markt, Latin Village, Vondel Park Summer Breeze, Rotterdam Summer Carnival, Roots Festival, ContraBanda, and Dansen Op Het Leidseplein) In addition, Jennifer co-organized the Amsterdam International Salsa Festival for over 3 years, has judged numerous dance competitions and loves working with student showteams!
