We have fought through the AIDS epidemic. We have fought for our human rights. We have fought for our survival. We have fought for each other.
The past has shown us that if we don’t resist, we die.

Globally, lives are at risk.
Due to the pandemic. Due to racism. Due to violence, inequity, and oppression.
We must continue to fight together. Wherever injustice exists, we must fight to extinguish it.
Solidarity is our most effective weapon.

Today, we will embrace our anger. We are pounding our feet and raising our voices to advocate for change, every day.
And in doing so, let us find ourselves at the gateway to a new world that is just, equitable, and safe for all.

Gain a deeper understanding of LGBTQ2S communities and what it means to create authentic spaces at work and at home. 2-hour, single-session online course delivered via Zoom.

We are heartbroken by the terrible losses that came out of Kamloops, British Columbia recently. We stand in solidarity with the Tk'emlúps te Secwépemc First Nation and grieve along with our communities.

In memory of these, and all lost Indigenous children, and to mark National Indigenous History Month, The 519 will be directing 25% of unrestricted funds raised through the month of June to support 2SLGBTQ Indigenous-led initiatives, and we will continue to do the work of reconciliation/decolonization in partnership with Indigenous communities year-round.
