Trans Day of Remembrance (TDoR) 2021

A Circle for Healing and Regenerating

A tree with a brown and dark brown trunk and red, yellow, pink, light blue, white and purple leaves. Two fires and two radiating suns with the same colours of the tree. All in a black background.

The 519 will commemorate the 22nd anniversary of Trans Day of Remembrance (TDoR) on Saturday, November 20, 2021. This year's community-chosen theme is "A Circle for Healing and Regenerating".

Join us virtually to celebrate and honour the lives of the 2 Spirit, trans, and non-binary siblings we have lost to transphobia, hate crimes, illness, substance use, suicide, or murder.

Highlights:

  • Opening ceremony featuring the Circle of Cedar Singers, and a moment of silence, followed by
  • Speakers and community performances.

The event will be streamed via Zoom. Stay tuned to our social media for more details.
