America Recycles Day

Each year, America Recycles Day (ARD) is celebrated on November 15th. This national initiative of Keep America Beautiful takes place to raise awareness on the importance of recycling in the United States. It is a great day to think about what we consume and to pledge to reduce, reuse, repurpose and recycle. We all can have a positive impact on the environment.

It's all you. Your recycling matters. Celebrate America Recycles Day by recycling right with CVWMA. Enter our contest. Take the CVWMA Recycling Quiz. You might be the gift card winner.

Visit our website and follow us on social media for more ways to reduce, reuse, and recycle. Let's make every day America Recycles Day!

Special Collection Events

As part of America Recycles Day, two of our member localities (Goochland and Hanover) have special collection events planned this month. Visit our Event Calendar  for date, time, location, fees (if applicable), and other event information.
