Welcome to our July 2014 Newsletter

4th of July Holiday to Delay Friday Collections

CVWMA curbside recycling and trash collections that normally take place on Friday will be delayed one day due to the Friday, 4th of July holiday. No collections will be made on Friday; thus all collections will occur on Saturday.

If you need assistance, please call the Recycling Hotline at (804)340-0900 or the Trash Collection Hotline at (804)425-0500. Staff will be working on Saturday, July 5 to assist you.

City of Hopewell's First Curbside Recycling Collection Day is July 2

Recycling will be collected EVERY OTHER WEEK on WEDNESDAYs.  BLUE WEEK curbside recyclers in the City of Hopewell will have their first curbside collection on Wednesday, July 2. See collection schedule attached to your new green recycling cart for collection days and list of accepted items.

Please note that RED WEEK collections will take place on Wednesday, July 9.

Volunteers Needed!  James River Regional Cleanup Day

 
The James River Advisory Council (JRAC) is hosting their annual James River Regional Cleanup Day on Saturday, September 13, 2014 from 9 am -1 pm.
Hundreds are volunteers are need to clean up shorelines and waterways. To register to volunteer, click here.
