CVWMA Expands Accepted Items for Recycling

On July 1, CVWMA started accepting additional plastic bottles and containers with a #3- #7 on the bottom as well as plastic caps (attached, not loose) and milk and juice cartons in our residential (curbside) recycling and drop-off recycling programs. Educational materials and messaging with information on the new items that can be recycled continue to be developed. Have a question? Visit our website or call our Recycling Hotline at (804) 340-0900 for the answer.
Please continue to recycle plastic bottles #1 & #2, aluminum and steel cans, glass bottles and jars, cardboard, and mixed paper along with the new items. Remember, Styrofoam, plastics bags and food contaminated items are not accepted.

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Special Scout Patch
