RED WEEK curbside recyclers in Ashland, Goochland, Henrico, and cities of Petersburg and Richmond will have a one day delay in curbside collection due to the holiday. Collections the week of May 26-30 will take place on the day following the normal collection day through Saturday.
Trash collections the week of May 26 in Ashland, Hopewell, Colonial Heights, and Petersburg will also occur on the day following the normal collection day through Saturday.
Please call the Recycling Hotline at (804)340-0900 or the Trash Collection Hotline at (804)425-0500 for more information.

Electronic Recycling Events

CVWMA has several electronics recycling special collection events planned during May and June. Please visit our Event Calendar for information on locations, accepted items, fees (if applicable), and directions.

 Stormwater: What's in your run-off?

Have you ever watched the rainwater running off your driveway or down your street? Do you know where that water is going? Pollution from stormwater runoff is the #1 health threat to our waterways. Every time it rains, pollution washes off your property and starts its journey through the watershed to the James River.

Click here for resources on what you can do to use water wisely and reduce stormwater pollutants.

Recycling Perks & TFC Recycling

TFC Recycling, one of CVWMA's curbside recycling contactors, offers a recycling rewards program for any eligible curbside recycler that purchases one of the 95 gallon green recycling carts or lives in the Town of Ashland or the City of Colonial Heights.
