NCHN Leadership Learning Community Call Schedule

The first LLC call, Challenging Conversations, was held February 27th at 12:00 PM ET. The 2015 schedule is as follows:

  • March 27, 2015 @ 12:00 PM ET
  • April 24, 2015 @ 12:00 PM ET
  • May 29, 2015 @ 12:00 PM ET
  • June 26, 2015 @ 12:00 PM ET
  • July 24, 2015 @ 12:00 PM ET

Both the call schedule and materials are available at NCHN.org > Member Resources > Leadership Learning Communities. The LLC is open to all who attended the Leadership Summit. Executive RoundtableExecutive Roundtable Call: Network Leadership & Change

Tuesday, March 17 @ 12:00 PMET; 11:00 AM CT; 10:00 AM MT; 9:00 AM PT; and 8:00 AM AKST

You have each experienced change in your unique network.  It could be the change connected with evaluating a long-standing board governance document or the change required in seeking agreement for a new business line. What we know is that change is constant.  As we meet together for an hour on March 17th, we'll consider how change can actually be healthy in building collaboration and seeking consensus on priorities.  Join Rebecca Davis and Mary Kay Chess on March 17th to consider how to effectively leverage this critical leadership tool.  

GrantStationGrantStation: Changes to Subscription Process Took Effect March 1st

NCHN Members and their members can subscribe to GrantStation at >90% off of the regular subscription price. Effective March 1st, we have changed the GrantStation subscription process. All subscriptions will start on the 1st of the month following our receipt of the subscription form. Subscription requests are due 2 days prior to the end of the month for an effective date of the 1st of the following month.

The Rural Outreach Benefits Counseling Program will award funding to pilot a new program, the Benefits Counseling Program, which will work to expand outreach, education, and enrollment efforts in rural communities. (Deadline: March 30, 2015)

Rural Network Allied Health Training Program (FORHP)

The Rural Network Allied Health Training Program offers funding to develop formal rural health networks that focus on the recruitment, training, and retention of the rural allied health workforce. (Deadline: March 31, 2015)

Rural Health Care Coordination Network Partnership Program (FORHP)

Rural Health Care Coordination Network Partnership Program that focus on care coordination activities for diabetes, congestive heart failure, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Applicants must develop creative and innovative approaches to address outcomes in one or more of the three conditions. Applicants may address the prevalence and management of diabetes, CHF, and COPD conditions using innovative or evidence-based care coordination strategies, relevant to their community needs. At a minimum, networks will be asked to report on four outcome measures for each chronic condition. A TA Call was held February 12, 2015: A recording is available here. (Deadline: April 6, 2015)
