Celebrate the Power of Rural

Every network has a story. Share yours and celebrate the many roles of networks in rural health.

NCHN will be Celebrating the Power of Rural Health Networks on National Rural Health Day, November 20, 2014.

As an or organization already committed to promoting rural and raising awareness of rural health issues, you know very well that America’s rural communities are full of amazing stories of individuals and organizations doing amazing things. You also know how important it is that these stories be shared with others, especially during this era of increased budget cuts and massive changes to the healthcare system. In addition to providing present and future networks with real world insight, your network's story adds to the awareness of the value of networks in rural health.

Please join us in celebrating the power of rural by submitting your network's story. You can submit any story that tells of the work your network is doing to improve rural health. This may be a best practice model, success story, or lesson learned (aka triumphant effort with abysmal results). The important thing is telling the story of the work you and your members are doing every day to strengthen rural health.

Stories will be shared on November 20, 2014, and featured in the NCHN e-News, NetworkTools.NCHN.org, and in RAConline.org's Rural Health Models and Innovations.

Submission Deadline: Friday, November 14, 2014
