The Greenbusch Group was retained by the City of Seattle to provide retro-commissioning services related to Air-Handling Unit 1 (AHU-1), AHU-2 and associated HVAC systems at the renovated Seattle Animal Shelter. Results from testing pinpointed the cause helping the owner to prioritize next steps.
WHAT MAKES COMMISSIONING INTERESTING:
“Commissioning is where engineering becomes real. Until the project is built, it’s just lines on a paper. Every project is unique. Determining why something isn’t working or how a system could be optimized in the real world and collaborating with others to enact solutions, is interesting and rewarding.”
