Happy Holidays from the Ashraya Initiative for Children!
We hope that your year has been a happy, healthy and productive one.
This year has been full of blessings and we have much to be thankful for. We are so proud of our kids and all of their
This year, we welcomed the addition of Poonam, a six year-old who is vibrant and energetic, into the Residential Program. She has been a wonderful addition to our AIC family. Aakash was accepted to Phillips Exeter Academy Summer Program and in spite of visa issues preventing him from attending, we are proud of how he handled it and the hope he has for next year.
While there is much to celebrate over the past year, we mourn the loss of one of the first children in
the Education Outreach Program, Bharti, due to dengue fever. She is constantly missed, and we are doing
everything in our power to prevent this from happening to others in our community.
We would not be able to make such progress or persevere through hard times without your continuous support,
and for that we are forever grateful. Your support has allowed our children to succeed in school, and to grow
into wonderful, responsible, educated and healthy young adults. With so much to be thankful for, we owe a big,
big thank you to you - our valued supporters.

Recent updates from Pune
The past few months have been exciting ones for AIC! We are so proud of Pooja, one of the children in our home,
