Also, we have various sizes of the 2016 green Pope Francis t-shirt. Those are $10 and available at any time in The Alley.

Upcoming Events

All 6-8th graders are invited to our
Fall Kick-Off: Messy Games!

Wed, Sept 6 at 7-8:30 pm (The Alley)

Get back in the swing of Edge with fun games like Hanging Donut, Cheeseball Head, and an epic slime fight!

No RSVP or permission form necessary; just come in clothes that can get messy!
All 6th-8th Graders are invited to
Edge Night Out: Laser Tag
at Eastern Shore Lanes

For $25, students can choose 3 rounds of laser tag, arcade games, or the high ropes course...or all three! Each student will receive a $10 arcade card.

Permission forms and $25 are due Sept 15. Forms can be found on our website: ctkdaphne.org/edge.
All 6-8th graders are invited to our
Day of Service
at Women's Health Center
in Spanish Fort

We will love our neighbor through an afternoon of yard work, cleaning, organizing, and praying at the WHC which serves women and families in crisis pregnancy situations.

Parents are invited to stay with kids or pick up and drop off from 1-3:30 pm.
Our culture is teaching our children about human dignity and self-worth, and often messages from movies, Netflix, or top 40 radio are not what we want to convey. The truth about who we are, how we are made, and what we are destined for is so much more beautiful!

Join us for "Pure and Simple," an archdiocesan event presented by the Office of Religious Education and the Order of Lumen Gentium which proclaims these truths, on September 27. The evening begins with a large group presentation by Pat Arensberg, followed by guys, girls, and parent breakout sessions.
All 8th graders and at least one parent are invited to join us for Mass at Christ the King at 5:30 with dinner and discussion following. 8th grade students from any school are welcome to attend; all should come with at least one parent. This event will prompt relevant discussions for all students as they prepare for high school, more freedom, and new influences.

This is an extra-credit opportunity for CTKCS 8th graders.
Child Protection Training is on September 12 at St. Lawrence Parish. Re-training quizzes can be found at www.mobarch.org/childprotection and should be completed before October.
Children's Faith Formation registration ends August 31, but email Sam Di Benedetto if registering late. More information here.
