1099 Revision in the ACA
This week the House of Representatives is working on legislation to repeal the unpopular 1099 provision in the ACA that requires small businesses to file with the IRS any transaction with a vendor of $600.00 or more. This provision has been touted as a mistake by members of both parties as well as President Obama. The US Senate has already passed a 1099 repeal.
