Our new pintxo bar is officially open and we’re thrilled to bring a taste of the Basque Country to The Borough Market Kitchen!

Inspired by the atmosphere of San Sebastián’s Old Town, its bustling bars packed with pintxos, and the gastronomic traditions of the Basque culture, Batera offers refined pintxos in a relaxed setting.

These bite-sized creations are an art and a culture in the Basque Country, where the txikiteo — a pintxo bar crawl — is a beloved tradition. We’re so excited to bring a bit of that tradition to London!

The quintessential Gilda, perfect tortillas, braised ox cheek, cod with piperrade… from the ultimate classics, to creative takes on tradition cooked by our Mimo London chefs. And the rumours are true, we're serving *that* very special Basque cheesecake. All paired with our favourite Basque beverages — crisp txakoli, authentic Basque cider, and craft Basqueland Brewing beers. Topa!
