Stewardship Showcase 1
What does success look like for the Ghost Watershed Alliance Society? It's about creating a broader sense of community and connecting people, residents and visitors alike to the watershed.
Since 2006, Watershed Stewardship Grants, made possible with funding from Alberta Environment and Parks, have supported the efforts of groups like Ghost Watershed Alliance Society and Wizard Lake Watershed and Lake Stewardship Association.
Establishing a Stewardship Legacy
Land Stewardship Centre (LSC) was established in 1996 and this year marks an important milestone anniversary. Recently, we spoke with the three individuals who founded LSC and established the foundation of the organization’s stewardship legacy that has continued for 25 years. Learn how it all started.
Our 25-year anniversary celebrations include a new website coming in early 2022. We’re excited! Watch for it.
Stewardship is best achieved when you have like-minded people and groups supporting you. Find organizations that share the same passions on our fresh, new online Stewardship Directory.
Should your organization and your work be our next Green Communities Guide case study? Have a story to tell about how your municipality has implemented NBS? Drop us a note, we’d love to chat.
