Pyramid Model Partnership Receives Funding in Massachusetts
MassachusettsIn Massachusetts, the Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) made a strong commitment to the state’s CSEFEL Pyramid Model Partnership, allocating $300,000 in ARRA funds toward Pyramid Model training – and follow-up coaching – for up to 2000 early childhood professionals statewide, who will participate in teams.  In its grant program for Mental Health Consultation Services, EEC also prioritized training and coaching on models that promote positive social emotional development, specifically referencing the Pyramid Model.  In concert with a second round of Train the Trainer and Coach sessions, funded through two SAMHSA grants, EEC’s contribution will go a long way toward widespread adoption of the Pyramid Model in Massachusetts! For more information on both grant opportunities please visit the EEC website.
