Leadership Development in Interethnic Relations February 2012
Healing for Social Change - A workshop series on achieving work-life balance
When you're committed to work that serves communities, it can be easy to overlook your own wellness and wrestle with burnout. The Leadership Development in Interethnic Relations (LDIR) program's newest workshop series, Healing for Social Change, is a unique opportunity to focus on wellness practices and build networks of support. The series will be held on May 18-19, June 28-30 (Weekend Retreat), and August 31, 2013.

Applications are due tomorrow, Friday, February 22! If you would like an extension or have other questions, please contact Povi-Tamu Bryant at or (213) 241-0263.

Intergroup Resources

LDIR is thrilled to serve as a member of the advisory committee for Intergroup Resources, an initiative coordinated by Safe Places for the Advancement of Community and Equity (SPACEs). The Intergroup Resources website is now live, so please check it out, show some love on FB, and spread the word to anyone involved in human relations and social justice work!

LDIR Welcomes Jenny and Karen!

LDIR receives critical support from interns throughout the year. We're excited to welcome two new interns to our team: Jenny Chhea and Karen Driscoll. Jenny is currently an undergraduate student at UCLA, and Karen recently completed her master's degree in Social Entrepreneurship and Change at Pepperdine University. Learn more about them here. Please keep a look out for their insight on LDIR's blog!
