Dear <<First Name>>,
The trip to Thailand and India was awesome! The Lord worked it out so that I ministered 32 times in 14 days. There is too much to tell in this one newsletter! We’ll have to cover more next time.
The meetings went very well in Thailand and we saw the Lord do great things in the 7 congregations where I ministered. I was told that Thailand as a whole has less than 1% believers. Interestingly, the Lord put it on my heart to teach some of those congregations that God wants to minister healing to people through all believers. I shared from the Word and from personal testimony about the reality of that truth.
I will focus on the portion of the trip in Bangkok for this letter. While in Bangkok, I ministered to 5 different congregations. In two of those congregations, I shared about ministering healing. After preaching, instead of having people come up for me to pray for them, I had the believers themselves minister healing to others around them. The Lord wanted the people to see that He would flow through them simply because they are believers. He wanted them to see that He is not limited to only flowing through pulpit ministers.
In one of those congregations, I ministered in a seminar on Thursday for over 3 hours on that theme. The following is a little bit of what I shared that seemed to resonate with many.
Collage of the Different
Not By Our Own Power or Godliness/Holiness
Many people don’t feel qualified to see God flow through them. I know that I didn’t. I always doubted myself. I remember I used to not want to pray for people or minister because I felt that I wasn’t powerful enough. I wasn’t godly enough. I wasn’t praying enough or reading the Bible enough. I didn’t “feel” anointed.
I had to come to the realization that I was actually trusting in myself instead of trusting in Jesus. God showed me that I couldn’t be godly enough in myself in order to be qualified for God to flow through me. The only reason I, or anyone, is qualified is because of the miracle of the new birth.
What helped me was what the Lord showed me from the story in Acts chapter 3. We all know the story. A lame man, who was lame from his mother’s womb was healed. The intriguing thing is what Peter said that many don’t notice. Peter told the lame man, “I don’t have silver and gold to give you, but what I DO have, I
give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk!” Peter didn’t worry about what it looked like he didn’t have. He knew what he DID have and Peter knew that it was up to him to give it.
Another thing that is amazing about the story is when all of the people saw that the man was healed, they were greatly amazed at this miracle of healing. Peter responds to their amazement by saying this in Acts 3:12, “Men of Israel, why do you marvel at this? Or why look so intently at us, as though by our own power or godliness we had made this man walk?” (NKJV)
The KJV says by our own power or holiness
Peter goes on to say how this man was healed in Acts 3:16. “And His name, through faith in His name, has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.”
The people in the congregation were able to see it. I could sense that they were getting it, that they can minister healing to people because Jesus is the one doing it through them. It isn’t based upon their own goodness, godliness or power. All you have to do is simply believe Jesus and let Him flow through you.
After sharing this, I had the people in the congregation pray for those in need. The people really responded and became excited as they laid hands on the sick. What would have taken me hours, took literally about 10 minutes because the hundreds in attendance did the ministering to each other. After, I had people testify after they prayed.
One man was deaf in his right ear and the Lord opened his right ear when the people in the congregation prayed for him. One lady couldn't see (I wasn't able to truly understand the extent of her vision problem due to interpretation problems) but something great happened. She was crying and testified that she could now see properly.

The next day, in the Friday night service at a university, there were at around 400 young adults in attendance. About 15 people c
ame to Christ in that service. Praise God! Before that service began, one couple who spoke English, came up to me and thanked me for what I taught during the Thursday seminar. They said that they went home excited about what they had learned. They said that on Friday morning, they went and prayed for their family members who were sick and they were healed. They were very excited and thanked me many times for opening their Thai Couple Who
eyes to the truth of healing. Prayed For Their Family
How awesome! Just think that you had a part in all of this. Those of you who are supporters of KEMI, you made this possible.
I will be traveling to South Africa in May to conduct a teaching/training seminar with Zulu pastors and also conduct crusades in the evening. It’ll be awesome!
Just so you know, Lisa and our eldest daughter Rachel just returned from ministering in Trinidad. We’ll update you more later.
Thank you partners! You are making it possible for Jesus to reach people with the Good News of His Gospel!
