Dear <<First Name>>,
First of all, this update is a few weeks late. I mailed out the hard copy to our physical address mailing list in April before my trip to South Africa. This electronic version wasn't able to be sent until I returned. Sorry about that!
However, there are a lot of great things in store for Kingdom Equippers. But before I get into that, I would like to continue where I left off last month about the trip to Thailand and India. I ended at the portion of the trip in Bangkok. But God did much more on that trip.
After leaving Bangkok, I traveled with my missionary friend Jeff DeVine to his base in Nong Bua Lamphu. He has a vision to have a large children’s home with a school and more. You can check out what his work is about at www.jdevineministries.com
While there, Jeff arranged to have me minister in two different churches pastored by the same person. Unbeknownst to me, the pastor was considering stepping away from pastoring. After having a series of meetings in those two churches, she was encouraged and saw how she should continue doing what she is doing. That is awesome!
In the second church, for two evenings, I taught how they can lay hands on the sick and see them recover. The people in that church got very excited. They started praying for each other and seeing results.
One lady testified that as I was teaching, she thought, “I don’t have to wait to be healed! I can tell my own leg to be healed right now.” So while I was ministering, she laid her hands on her own leg and commanded her leg to be healed. She saw instant results and was excited about bringing the message of Jesus to others.

Lady Testifying about Healing with the Pastor
I then traveled to India and was blessed to minister the Word in two different bible schools and a church. Everyone was extremely blessed and asked when I was going to come back to India. God is good!
Outreach to South Africa
Tomorrow, I’ll be leaving for a ministry trip to South Africa. I’ll be there for 12 days and will be conducting a pastor’s seminar with rural Zulu pastors and be ministering in a crusade for three evenings.
When we lived in South Africa, the Lord blessed us with relationship with some Zulu pastors in the rural areas about 2-3 hours from where we lived. I have been able to keep in contact with the main pastor since we returned to the USA to base the ministry from the USA. During those conversations, he has wanted me to return and minister in his area. He mentioned how he wants a bible school for the pastors in his area. We aren’t sure about the logistics of a bible school at this time, but I mentioned me coming and holding a seminar with those pastors.
So from May 1-5, we will have 11 sessions with those pastors where we will cover the topics of Identity in Christ, Healing and Authority of the Believer. Those pastors also decided to conduct revival meetings from May 1-10. I will be ministering the evenings of May 4-6. I know that the Lord is going to do awesome things through this opportunity. I know that the pastors are going to be extremely blessed. I also know that people are going to come to the saving knowledge of Jesus and also many will be healed. These are the types of ministry opportunities that God has specifically called us to.
Increase, Increase, Increase
When Lisa and I first went to bible college back in 1995, there was a couple that were guest ministers during the first few days of school. That couple mainly ministers in praise and worship, but they were also teaching and sharing their experiences with the school. They offered for students to come forward so that they could pray for each of us. I remember, after being prayed for, I went to walk back to my seat and my legs were extremely heavy and I could hardly move them. I asked, “Lord! What’s going on?” He immediately spoke to my heart, “Your legs are weary for all of the nations that you are going to go for me.”
Well, God hasn’t changed His mind, and neither have Lisa and I. My legs aren’t yet tired, so we have a long way to go! I am looking at all of the possibilities for us to travel as much as possible so that we can bring the good news of the Gospel and the truths concerning the kingdom of God to as many places as we can.
We are so thankful that we can turn on Roku and choose from a few different ministers who have great things to say. But what options do people have if they don’t speak English or have the ability to watch Christian TV? What if there are no TV signals where they live or if they are too poor to be able to afford internet or satellite? Well we know that God has called us to be a part of the solution to that problem. It is our desire to be available to go to those areas and teach things that will help people to walk in victory. This is what God has called us to do!
We love ministering in the USA, but we especially feel at home ministering over seas. This isn’t what we have come up with on our own. We love going to places where it is not exactly the well beaten path. We especially love going to those places where no one is really going. When we formed the ministry back in 2005, God gave us the name Kingdom Equippers and we have discovered that that name definitely fits. We have seen God flow through us to help equip people for Kingdom work.
We didn’t travel much in 2016 because we didn’t have the financial ability to do so. But Lisa and I both decided that we will never go through a year like that again. We still don’t have the financial ability to have gone to the places that we have gone thus far in 2017, but since we decided that we aren’t going to sit and wait, things have changed. We haven’t seen change in our finances in the natural YET, but our mindsets have definitely changed and that has immediately brought more opportunities for ministry. We know that our finances ARE going to change.
This trip to South Africa is costing $2000 for all travel and accommodations. If anyone would like to sow towards that trip specifically, that would be a great place to sow.
We appreciate all of you who are currently our partners and we thank God for you. However, in order for us to go forward, we must have increase. So we are asking for more people to become partners with us. We believe that this is a great opportunity for you to join in on what God is doing. If we weren’t a partner with this ministry, we would become one. We believe so strongly in what this ministry is called to do. So we are appealing to people to have a part in helping this ministry bring the good news around the world.
We are specifically believing to have the following number of partners at the following specific giving levels.
Number of Partners Giving Level
If you would like to become a partner, there are different ways to accomplish it. One way is to set up automatic giving through your online banking by using their bill pay service. Another very simple method would be to go to our website www.kemi-inc.org
. You can give online each time that you would like to give using your credit or debit card. A much more simple way to partner, would be to go to the donations page on our site and scroll down and choose your partnership level and set up automatic giving using your debit/credit card.
For those of you based outside of the USA, setting up automatic giving through your debit/credit card is an easy way to partner with us. That way, you don't have to worry about getting US dollars, waiting in line to have your bank cut a foreign draft check, and you don't have to worry about mailing the check using costly postage. However, your bank may
charge you a foreign currency conversion fee to use your card (usually between 1 to 3%). We have partners outside of the USA that take advantage of this simply solution to partnering with Kingdom Equippers.
Also, feel free to partner with a different amount than the suggested amounts. Please contact us if you would like to set up automatic credit/debit card giving in a different amount. We will make a tailor made link just for you in the amount that you desire.
Thank you partners! You are making it possible for Jesus to reach people with the Good News of His Gospel!
Co-Laborers in Christ,
Sean and Lisa Michaud
