As a safety professional, you have many options when it comes to your career path. Only you can make the choice to pursue a certification. Pursuing the CRSP® certification will set you apart from others in your field and will have a measurable impact on your career.

Five Reasons To Pursue the CRSP® Certification:

  1. Stay a step ahead of the Competition. When employers are hiring the competition can be stiff. Being able to say you are a CRSP® on your resume will help set you apart from your competition.
  2. Confidence. Earning a CRSP® certification is no simple task - that is why your confidence soars once you become certified. You set your sights on a goal, you planned it out, you worked hard and you achieved it. That’s an instant confidence booster.
  3. Demonstrate Your Commitment to Continuous Learning. One of the greatest steps you can take as a professional is being committed to continuous learning. You will never fall behind in the industry if you are continuously growing and learning. Employers and clients will see the benefit of your commitment.
  4. Earn More Money. Often earning a certification can quickly lead to higher wages and promotion opportunities. The average salary reported by CRSP® respondents in 2015 was $100,000 to $109,999, well above the average salary shown on PayScale for the profession.
  5. Professional Growth. When you invest in yourself you demonstrate to others you are committed to growing professionally.
Becoming a CRSP® is one of the most positive and powerful achievements for an occupational health and safety professional. See what these OHS professionals had to say about achieving certification.
