Adobe Oven Building Workshop - July 12-13
High5 Recipes - Martha McGoldrick

Super Seed Muesli (Makes two servings)
1 ¼ cups non-dairy milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon coconut oil (optional)
¼ cup sunflower seeds
¼ cup pumpkin seeds
¼ cup ground flax seeds
¼ cup goji berries
*Chopped Pecans (Optional)
2 tablespoons dry coconut, unsweetened
1 tablespoon of raw honey or 5 drops of stevia (optional)

What's New at the Store

Longer days and warm nights mean it's time to plant the summer garden! 
 
You can pick up your local organic seedlings at the Co-op. We also have worm compost in 5lb bags, a great addition to your soil that will get your plants off to a great start. While you're here stop by the Deli Department for Lunch (or Breakfast or Dinner) and try our new sushi rolls,on tap Kombucha, tuna burgers or Espresso Coffees.

Calling All Volunteers!

Thank you Jan Okumura for beautifying our outdoor eating area with your green thumb. 
Jan noticed the picture of the empty planter in last month’s newsletter, answered the plea for help and went above and beyond our expectations.  Thank you Jan. We have had so many nice compliments from those who are enjoying the

outdoor dining area even more than before!

Come have “Breakfast with the Prez” any third Thursday at 9 am.
 

Meet Board President John in the store, and he’ll pay for your deli breakfast before you go upstairs to pepper him with questions.  No, wait!  It’s always the third Thursday EXCEPT THIS TIME!  Jury duty calls, and you’re invited for May 22, the 4th Thursday.

THE CO-OP – WE OWN IT!
Owner Accounts

This past month statements were mailed to owners who have gotten behind on their account payments.  
If you are in this category, please help your co-op by getting caught up on these payments as you are able.  As a small bonus you will receive a $10.00 PNFC gift card upon making your final payment.  
 
Also, for owners who are "in good standing" with their payments, we will be offering e-mail alerts to let you know when you have a payment coming due.  If you would like to take advantage of this service please send a request to julie@placervillecoop.org.

Also, some clarification about the twice-monthly 10% owner discounts.  The discounts can be used on whichever two days of the month that you choose and can be used for the whole day.  So, on a day that you shop and use your discount, you may come back later in the day and continue to use it.
