UPDATE YOUR ARTIST PROFILE TODAY!

The AOE Arts Council is moving to a brand new website! We will be transferring all your artist profiles. To help us help you, please ensure that all your content on your profile, including pictures, contact information, name, bio, etc., is up-to-date by midnight on Tuesday, January 31.

After January 31,
  • you can continue to update your profile and post events and opportunities; however, these updates will not be reflected on the new website;
  • any updates to the website will be lost when the new website goes live in spring 2017;
  • we will not be creating any new profiles for our members until the new website goes live.
If you are unsure if you have a profile, forgotten your username or password, or need help with updating your content, do not hesitate to contact Danielle at danielle@artsoe.ca, or 613-580-2767.

Le Conseil des arts AOE déménage à un tout nouveau site web ! Nous transférerons tous vos profils d'artiste. Pour nous aider à vous aider, assurez-vous que tous vos contenus sur votre profil, y compris les photos, les coordonnées, le nom, la biographie, etc. sont à jour par minuit le mardi 31 janvier.
Après le 31 janvier,
  • vous pouvez continuer à mettre à jour votre profil et à publier des événements et des occasions. Toutefois, ces mises à jour ne seront pas sur le nouveau site web;
  • toute mise à jour du site web sera perdue lorsque le nouveau site web sera mis en service au printemps 2017;
  • nous ne créerons pas de nouveaux profils pour nos membres avant que le nouveau site web ne soit mis en ligne.

CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS: SHANNON REYNOLDS MEMORIAL ENDOWMENT FUND INTERNSHIP AT GCTC
The Shannon Reynolds Memorial Endowment Fund, in partnership with Ottawa’s Great Canadian Theatre Company (GCTC), supports Canadian female artists through the provision of paid, mentored theatrical internships. Each year, the endowment provides support for an internship in the departments of production, design or directing. For the 2017-2018 season, GCTC is welcoming submissions from Directors. COLOUR MIXING WORKSHOP
The workshop is based on the Split-Primary Colour Theory developed by Michael Wilcox and is suitable for all media where colour mixing is required. An extensive handout with exercises and notes is supplied so that you can refer back to it as you wish. Sat, Jan. 21.

SPECIAL FX MAKEUP - 3D TRANSFER PROSTHETICS
3D Transfers (Also known as Prosaide Transfers or bondo Transfers) is one of the newest innovations in makeup fx.  Developed for “The Passion of Christ”. They needed an appliance that could be quickly applied, held up  to anything including moisture and of course, looked realistic. Well, they did it.  And so can you. Sat, Feb. 11 and Sun, Feb. 12.

L'ART VISUEL S'ÉCRIT
L’art visuel s’écrit est un projet initié par l’AGAVF visant à augmenter le nombre d’écrits francophones en arts visuels. Introduction to Video Production: This workshop is designated as introductory training for media artists and artists from other disciplines who would like to explore using video in their work.
