Pre-sliced Semantics and Spreadable Syntax
I am exhibiting new work as part of Text&Context in Cambridge from 4–20 October. A series of short texts will be posted on the customer notice board at Sainsbury's (with a new text put up every two days) and concurrently as a book hidden within the Linguistics section of Plurabelle Books. The reader is invited to consider some astute and some arbitrary comparisons between language and consumer products.
Text&Context includes the work of 25 artists and explores the relationship between art, language and location through a series of encounters across the city, including live performance, postcards, neon signs, social media and even bicycles. A map of all artwork locations can be found here.

Picturing Kindness
I am very pleased to be collaborating with photographer Jonathan Turner on a new project with Open Art and the residents of Brackenhall & Deighton.
We are collecting stories of kindness and generosity and turning them into photo-text artworks. Follow the progress of the project on our blog.

Good Rule & Governance
For Morley Literature Festival I have produced a series of posters displaying ultra-short stories, based upon past byelaws for the town.
The work is exhibited in the pedestrianised area of the town centre until 14 October, alongside artworks by Paul Ashton, Clare Charnley, Jess Mitchell and Vikkie Mulford all inspired by public signage.
Also on show at Morley Town Hall is a new video by Paul Rooney, plus there are loads of great talks and events from authors as part of the festival.
