The pandemic made me interested in reading materials about resilience. What does it take for leaders and churches to bounce back from such a devastating event? I am grateful to have the opportunity to catch a few small glimpses of the work of Jesus from these resilient leaders in my work.
The North Austin Community Center has the goal of bringing a predominantly black community in Austin, IL and a nearby large Latino community together to play sports and take part in other activities. A local CRC church is a leading partner in this massive nonprofit project.
