We Need You to Support Refugee Resettlement and Oppose This Anti Refugee Bill
Earlier this month, H.R. 4731, the Refugee Program Integrity Restoration Act, passed through the House Judiciary Committee. House leadership is now considering whether to bring H.R. 4731 to the House floor for a vote. Many refugee resettlement organizations and faith groups, including the CRC’s Office of Social Justice, have major concerns about this bill.
H.R. 4731 would drastically reduce refugee admissions, change the definition of a refugee, and allow states to stop refugee resettlement within their borders — among many other changes. Click the button below to urge House representatives and House leadership to oppose H.R. 4731 and to support refugee resettlement.
