For Such A Time As This: Bringing Our Whole Story to Bear

We are wired for stories and wired to be changed by stories. And each of our stories is a part of God's Big Story. Join us on Wednesday, June 10 at 7 p.m. Eastern Time as women share stories of what has shaped us and freed us. We'll also reflect on how to bring our whole selves—bodies, intellects, and hearts—to bear. Like Queen Esther, we will spend some time discerning how our stories—the stories of our family, our faith, our growth—might speak into times of great upheaval. An Ending Phase for Staff of Women’s Ministry

Diane Dykgraaf served as assistant to the director of Leadership Diversity and she retired on June 1. Diane brought a wealth of experience and knowledge of women's roles in the CRCNA and a passion for ethnic diversity to support our vision and mission. We celebrated Diane's 24 years of service in a virtual setting by surprising her with colleagues and friends from the former Home Missions agency and more recent relationships. Our Women's Ministry Advisory Team joined in sharing memories and appreciation of Diane's service and the use of gifts. May God bless and guide Diane and her family in this new phase of life. 

I am looking forward to finishing well in my current role as director of Leadership Diversity on June 30. I celebrate 21 years of service. I celebrate amazing relationships and opportunities to serve others, especially Calvin Theological Seminary students, and the people who prayed for me.
