Giving Tuesday | November 2016

Dear justice-seeker,

We’re getting closer to our Giving Tuesday goal! Will you join the momentum?

  1. More than 4,500 of you remembered the sanctity of every human life in your worship services.
  2. 1,223 of you pledged to change the conversation about immigrants.
  3. Almost 2,900 of you prayed for love in the face of violence after shootings in St.Paul, Baton Rouge, and Dallas. (Check out our infographic for more highlights of the year.)

It’s been our joy to support you in the work of doing justice. We’ve accomplished so much together!

There is so much yet to do. Will you consider financially supporting the work of biblical justice?

When you donate this Giving Tuesday, the impact of your gift will be doubled by several generous donors.

Here’s why Jenn gives:

I give to the Office of Social Justice because it so beautifully demonstrates to us how we can live out God's call for us to love all our neighbors. Jesus was a champion of social justice who spent his time loving and defending the most vulnerable and marginalized of his neighbors. We are called to do the same, and OSJ guides us on how to faithfully do that. Thank you, OSJ, for being such a light. —Jenn Tello, US

Together, we can rise to the challenge of pursuing justice for all of God’s image-bearers. We can keep busting myths that keep our nations from appreciating the gifts of immigrants. We can keep organizing for effective and compassionate climate policy. We can continue to tell the untold parts of our history, so that we might flourish together as Indigenous and non-Indigenous people on this land.
