There’s no doubt the past two years have been hard . . . but they have also been enlightening.
Here at the Office of Diversity we have witnessed the resilience of congregations as they battle isolation and depression in their midst, the dedication and determination of exhausted pastors, and the creativity of leaders committed to Christ and community.
We are listening to these diverse leaders in this great denomination because they are leading the way in growing the Christian Reformed Church into the mosaic church that makes Jesus smile with great joy.
Korean leaders in Southern California and the East Coast are planting churches that cross racial and socioeconomic boundaries. African American leaders in North Carolina are reaching college students at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. First Nation leaders have performed yeoman pastoral work to Navajo and Zuni residents in the Southwest U.S. despite the challenges of the coronavirus. Latino leaders have been training future leaders and leveraging new opportunities to increase the growth of the CRC. These creative leaders are teaching us to become better listeners than speakers.
As a body of believers, we are in this together, and we are confident that our Lord goes before us and will never leave us. Please give a year-end gift that will help extend this motivating ministry of Diversity even further in the coming year. Any single amount will be a blessing. However, by choosing to make your donation a monthly recurring gift, you will strengthen this ministry for years to come.
