How did you approach 2022? With joy and excitement? With some degree of hesitation? With the pandemic continuing to have an impact on our lives, perhaps it has been difficult to see what God has in store for us as we start afresh this year.

As a ministry we chose to reflect upon 2021, pausing to consider how we had continued to move forward as a ministry in the midst of challenging times. What we realized was that God had provided so many opportunities for our community to flourish and grow. We were able to connect and expand our ministry impact. We spoke into issues of abuse and in so doing, raised awareness of the impacts of abuse in the ongoing effort to end abuse.

Looking forward to 2022, we are thankful that God is leading us and that His presence has been so apparent throughout the journey thus far for our ministry. Please continue to pray for the work we do as a ministry. We are so encouraged by the ongoing support we receive for all of you! Thank you!

On Being a Trauma-Informed Congregation Resources

One day, Christ will return to establish a kingdom
where there will be no more tears or heartache or reason to fear,
where threats of harm, violence, manipulation, and bullying will cease,
where justice, truth, and goodness will prevail,
and where every person,
regardless of gender, age, color, nationality, or ability,
will be seen, valued, and loved.

You can help the church lean into this hope today.
