Distance Learning Continues Through Friday, May 15, 2020

Today, Governor Cuomo extended school closures through Friday, May 15, 2020.  At this time, schools are expected to open on Monday, May 18, 2020
We are about to enter our sixth week of distance learning.  Everyone, most importantly our students, is working very hard, and we are getting better and more effective at remotely teaching and learning every day.  Continuity of instruction is provided by your administrators, teachers, and the Central Office Instructional Team.
Along with instruction, Grab N Go breakfast and lunch will continue daily for our students and families in need. Child care is available to our first responders.
Students, it is extremely important for you to complete all assigned work. You must maintain daily communication with your teachers.
For high school students, the Board of Regents canceled all Regents examinations for the remainder of this year.  Guidance about how students will receive Regents credit will be available through your high school and posted on the District website.
Our students’ success is our top priority during this difficult period, and always.  I ask everyone to work cooperatively and support our students and each other.  Please feel free to email your building principal with questions or concerns.  We are in this together and focused on what our students need most – consistency and support.
