Customer Spotlight: Frankie Lemmon School

Frankie Lemmon School and Developmental Center provides life changing education for children with and without disabilities ages 3-5. Founded in 1965, Frankie Lemmon was first housed in Hudson Memorial Presbyterian Church, followed by Hayes Barton Baptist Church and now currently in our own building in Southeast Raleigh. Frankie Lemmon school currently serves 87 children in eight classrooms. Each classroom has one teacher and one-two assistants. We are fortunate to provide all administrative personnel, lead teachers and therapists with Apple laptops. In addition, each of our eight classrooms also has a SmartBoard. These SmartBoards are used for structured & educational activities on a daily basis.

The Frankie Lemmon School, as an all Apple facility, has chosen to partner with TenPlus Systems due to their ability to provide superior service, advice, and consultation. Early this year Frankie Lemmon School commissioned TenPlus Systems to design and install a file server and backup system for all of the school’s Apple devices. The teacher and staff laptops are now backed up automatically utilizing Apple Time Machine. These backups are seamless, and in the background so that the teachers do not need to initiate the backups. The file server capability allows the staff to easily share, and keep up to date, documents related to each child’s education and developmental progress. The file server is also backed up via Time Machine. Thanks to TenPlus the staff of the Frankie Lemmon School no longer needs to worry about hit or miss backups, or lost files.
